This New Zealand made product is a recipe of sodium bicarbonate, New Zealand grassmere sea salt, pure essential peppermint oil and xylitol.
Purpose:
Plaque consists primarily of bacteria, along with small amounts of food particles and dead cells from our soft tissues and saliva. Bacteria in the mouth thrive in low pH environments. By increasing the pH to a neutral or alkaline level, bacterial reproduction slows down, resulting in less plaque formation. Saliva naturally helps to neutralize acidity, but when the oral environment becomes too acidic, bacteria reproduce more rapidly, producing acid that can demineralize tooth enamel. Certain foods and drinks with low pH levels can further lower the pH in the mouth.
Prefresh Tooth Powder helps counteract this by increasing the pH, creating an environment less conducive to bacterial reproduction. Consequently, this leads to reduced plaque buildup, lower risk of gum disease, and decreased tooth decay.
Instructions for Use:
Apply toothpaste to a damp toothbrush, then add a small amount of PreFresh Tooth Powder on top. Brush either your upper or lower teeth first. Reapply PreFresh Tooth Powder and repeat for the remaining teeth. Use morning and evening.
